I know I don't have one, but it'd be interesting to see your tactic and squad. Also feel free to go into depth about how your team plays and etc.
Also if you were playing on beta or still are, you can post that one, and in the future the FM Live subscribers can post. So post your current team, and give us a bit about your team. |

In GW2, we're currently in season 12 (I've been playing since end S6) so you must realize that a lot of the current dB is either retired or very old and a multitude of regens have taken the place of known stars.
Originally starting out in the 3rd tier of the NFA in season 7, I reached their Premiership with successive promotions and just barely stayed up season 9. That was also the season I finished runner up in the NFA Cup as well as the runner up in the UFFA Grassroots Cup. Most of my time spent in the NFA was ranked in the high 100's and achieved 3 stars in reputation. Offered a fed org position in the SFA, I switched federations and immediately began making an impact in the world rankings. Within the next year in the 2nd tier of SFA season 10, I jumped from the low 100's into the top 50. Narrowly earning promotion by way of playoffs, in the Premiership season 11 I saw my world ranking climb as high as 23 and finished 5th place gaining a UFFA Champions League place in the process. My youth setup consists primarily of cheap (200 wage) players with 3 star potential and with the amount of comps I have entered, there is a heavy rotation in playing time for all to develop them into quality talent (not world class, but workable in my senior squad). I have been ranked as high as 9th in youth and my u21 squad typically does quite well, won some friendly comp trophies and features many of my senior bench players. My predominant tactic for most of the beta is geared for heavy wingplay, crosses into the box & long through balls. In addition, my fullbacks are used almost solely for defense since my formation has no DM position to assist with the back line. Depending on injuries and fitness, I switch between a standard 4-4-2 and a 4-5-1 hybrid... the latter typically consisting of a sole striker, an AMC in support, two wide AML/Rs and two neutral-minded MCs. For this reason, it is very important that my attacking wingers are the most talented aspect of my squad in addition to a striker that is capable of playing up top alone with high individual ability. In tandem with this, my youth setup has been geared to produce these types of players and am willing to spend a bit more for those with this potential. Get Sacked FC is a "regional" style squad and consists of only players with nationalities in the Western hemisphere that are not Brazilian. Currently my starting squad + sub bench looks like the following: (players with a star denotes a regen) GK: George Forsyth, age 37, AF 350k DL: *Brent Provan, age 24, AF 65k DR: *Jose Luis Flores, age 23, AF 45k DC: Cristian Zapata, age 31, AF 1.4m DC: *Roman Castillo, age 24, AF 70k ML: Nery Castillo, age 33, AF 600k MR: Lester Peltier, age 29, AF 750k MC: Nathan Sturgis, age 30, AF 180k MC: Landon Donovan, age 37, AF 250k ST: Eddie Johnson, age 34, AF 1.1m ST: Luis Angel Landin, age 33, AF 700k Bench GK: *Ruben Leon, age 24, AF 40k (out on loan) DC: *Edgar Romero, age 22, AF 50k DL: *Jermaine Blake, age 26, AF 35k (out on loan) DR: *Jeff Miller, age 23, AF 30k ML: *Gonzalo Rondriguez, age 21, AF 90k MR: *Jacob Chevalier, age 23, AF 50k (out on loan) MR: *Matt Carroll, age 22, AF 20k MC: Cristobal Jorquera, age 30, AF 250k MC: *Lazaro Perez, age 26, AF 200k (out on loan) MC: *Walter Barreto, age 21, AF 80k ST: *David Dodds, age 24, AF 75k ST: *Hector Perez, age 22, AF 50k (out on loan) ST: *Marcos Barreto, age 21, AF 90k |

Hmm, that Jermaine Blake on your subs bench - We had him come through in our world, and I tried to loan him, the guy who owned him said he would get back to me within 5 hours, but 3 hours later was when our Gameworld died, so I'm not sure if he was any good, but I tried!
That certainly looks a good team, may I ask if Donnovan and Eddie Johnson are still playing well, or are they past it? |

That certainly looks a good team, may I ask if Donnovan and Eddie Johnson are still playing well, or are they past it? They're both definitely past their prime, but since I have 4 star coaching in every area, their attributes haven't declined as dramatically as some do heading into their mid-30s. Both start every game for my seniors unless injured/suspended and have an average rating of 7+. Donovan's stats though are a little inflated as he takes all my PKs and therefore will get better ratings that way. For 37 years-old, he's got a pretty high AF still although when I bought him it was 550k. BTW, Nery Castillo I just sold for $1 in a wage auction (not much interest) only because I wasn't planning on renewing his contract at the end of season. He's on 28k/day and Gonzalo Rodriguez does well enough now to take his place at a pittance of the cost. Who knows what will happen though in a week or so with wage auctions... I'll probably be able to find a good AML in the 300-500k AF range and scoop him up on a re-bid. (it's how I buy most of my players) |

As you all know I'm very new to this, but what happens with players like Ronaldinho and Kaka? It'd be interesting to see how they are rated in the game, and who has them?

Aye, I saw that you got Ronaldiho the other day.
I have no superstars, I just have kids, I have 1 22 year old, the rest are under 21. I dont really have the cash to sign anyone well known. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Although I have a 15 Year old called Nielsen: Appearances: 10, Goals: 3, Average Rating: 7.05 or soemthing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
