Good luck, I've had a crack at taking teams from BSN / BSS a number of times and never really gotten very far. Will be interesting to see how you get on.

I'm doing the same with Hampton & Richmond, surprisingly I've made quite quick progress and I'm already in the Championship. I'm 2nd behind Man Utd a few games into my first season in the Championship! Its amazing how Aldershot Town and Hampton & Richmond are in the same division as Man Utd, just goes to show how FM isn't always that realistic I suppose.
A bit of help for you (not that you probably need it!) Good signings for the Blue Square South/North I found were: Richard Jones (Welsh, Unattached) Hristo Panayotov (Bulgarian, Chepstow Town) Charlie Robinson (Northern Irish, Wellington Rec) Marc Elston (English, Unnatached) Darragh Sheridan (Irish) And if you've loaded their countries then Des Faaiso (Samoan) Reginald Davani (Papua New Guinea) A few bargains available from Crumlin Utd as well in particular the goalkeeper Russell Payne. I also found loans really important at that level, West Ham are a great club for loans. James Tomkins, Kyel Reid and Hogan Ephraim were important for me in my first season. Slightly further along the line Simeon Jackson, Bruno Aguiar and Ryan Dickson proved very good signings. Sometimes I think its possible to climb the divisions too quickly. I've been gradually leaking out money this year because wages are very high and the stadium is very small so there aren't good gate receipts. Also if i could have gone back I would have spent more money on the youth system because at the moment it is just churning out useless players. Anyway I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Hopefully Hampton & Richmond will be in the Champions League in a few years time! |

Sounds like you're doing very well mate, but feel free to make your own thread for your own game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
