Meantime FM 2009 is being developed and tested we play Football Manager 2008. So topic of FM 2008 wonderkids is still interesting for many of us who tries to win the best cups and get to the highest positions in leagues. This time I would like to uncover my research of wonderkid forwards of special type - target man. Actually, my dear readers, few of you asked me about doing research about young talented target man forwards. Here goes!


Wonderkids
Victor Anichebe

19 years old guy from Everton. He has very good potential due to high Work Rate (17). Anichebe is strong finisher already having good value of Finishing, Composure, Jumping, Strength, Pace, Acceleration. He has 2 preferred moves: Shoot With Power (what is really important for target man striker) and  Like Ball Played into Feet. The only bad thing about him is his price - $9.5M. But anyway I would advice to buy him if you have enough finances.

Victor Moses

Crystal Palace forward of 16 years old. He is the most young talented target man striker. Moses possesses high teamwork and creativity abilities. Shoots the ball with power! He is very versatile guy who can perform as AMC and MC. And the most important thing about him that he could be signed for free!

Diego Biseswar

Dutch notable wonderkid forward from Feyenoord. Diego Biseswar is notable for high values of unusual (but useful!) for target man: Dribbling, Creativity, Influence, Agility. Another interesting feature of Biseswar can be seen if you click on his Positions. I couldn't keep from posting screenshot of his unique positions:

Superb versatility!!! Pay attention also to his 3 Preferred Moves. After all I can make a conclusion that Diego Biseswar can be used as target man forward, as attacking winger, as quick forward (in case if his Pace and Acceleration will be trained). Cool guy!

Discussing his price I can say that it is not so high (comparing with Anichebe) but perceptible - $4.9M.

He has advantage over other players enumerated in this list - high value of First Touch.
He is very versatile being able to perform as AMC, AML, ML, MC. Low Natural Fitness, average Composure. Adrian Deportivo (SPA) 19 $8M His Finishing, Composure, Jumping, Tecnique, Work Rate, Heading, First Touch and Dribbling are above 15 already! High price. Low Natural Fitness. Xisco Deportivo (SPA) 21 $4.8M Deportivo has another young target man forward - Xisco. Balanced, determined and strong with good level of Anticipation. Price. Ken Fagerberg Midtyulland (DEN) 18 $1.8M Shoots with Power. Hits freekicks with Power too! Has excellent values of Determination, Strength. Good Finishing, Bravery, Teamwork. Low values of Decisions, Creativity. Average Composure. Kenan Kodro Real Sociedad B (SPA) 14 Free! His unbelievably young age!!! And many of his attributes are really not bad already. Composure is 15! Stamina, Anticipation are only 4 but it will be trained certainly. The True Football Manager
