Hey, I'm composure and would like to introduce to FMD a site launching its beta early afternoon today. The site, like yours, is based on the Football Manager series from Sports Interactive as equals in our eyes. I have built a Staff Team amongst experience members you may know well and some you may not, here's who we have working under us:

Some questions, answered:

What does aidtheboss aim to be?

A community, it will not be a site consumed by resources - instead we will focus on discussion in all fronts.

Another site?

The site is not aiming to be a big business type outfit which runs around stealing members or people to work for us, just an informal place for good discussion. Providing an alternative to other sites.

What will you offer, that another site doesn't?

At the moment, in truth there is nothing more than you can get elsewhere other than a fresh start and an enthusiastic member base. However as this is more of an introduction to what we will start to release as we progress in the future there will be many features to come across. Despite this there are a few attractions:

- Mainsite.
- Unique Skin and design.
- Friendly Staff.
- The oppurtunity to win a Football Shirt, for free!

I love constructive criticism about the site, so feel free without the fear of an argument breaking out and a result in the topic closing lol. I would prefer for their not to be any criticism of any staff member or the team as a whole, thanks.

I think the site will fail. The thing about what this aidtheboss place offers is a pile of cow pat.

Friendly staff? Most sites
Unique design? Most sites, and actually, ti isn't. Your using a basic crappy theme for wordpress or whatever on your mainsite.
Mainsite? OMFGz amazingz loolz.


I also don't see how your going to manage Rory, especially since you left FMD because you don't have any time for FM sites. You remind me of most of your staff.

You said you wanted C&C, and here it is. Most of your staff team are okay, but Yamo?

Can't say it's a place I'd wanna visit tbh. The mainsite is ok-ish, but doesn't really offer much in the way of uniqueness.

The layout is crap. Just my view.

How is that constructive criticism, which part of it is crap? If all of it how can it be improved?

Like not having a separate section for feedback and introductions. Just seems crap, know what I mean? It just looks as if your saying 'ah, member stuff aint important, lets merge' them.

And, I think it's too small, again, you've merged quite a few sections to what Im used to here and places like TG.

You have an FML section though, so thats a plus point. And having the strangely named Scene section near the top, I'd disagree with.

Also, to me it looks like your actual mainsite is a complete normal template, and you havent done anything to it? With your designing skills and stuff, I was expecting a really customized mainsite. For example, you haven't even removed the Ad Spots on the right, even when your not using them.

And, as far as Im aware, although Im probably wrong, there's no link to the forums on the actual mainsite.

Nope, that would be incorrect. Different size, different background. Yeah the forums are supposed to be concise until we get a lot of activity, thanks for the suggestion though. Because something is not what you are accustomed to doesn't mean it's bad.

Like I said, doesn't offer anything unique. Not to mention somebody copycatted my old name (-Matt-). But that's no reason to slate you guys.

The main site has a same-old-same-old feel to it, and just doesn't stand out for me. While the free shirt comp. you're running seems good, I honestly can't see any follow through on it, and think it's just a lure to get people to the site.

I hope for your sake you prove me wrong.

I can assure you that at the end of the competition for the shirt, the winner will receive one.

Not a bad looking site, will be interesting to see how things take off over there.
