MY REGENS http://fmdiscussion...._DIR#>/grin.gif

after winning Premiership twice, League Cup and Champions League i decided to give myself a new challenge. Make an all home-grown team.

To do that i will have to give my youngsters a lot of attention, hoping i get as many quality players from my youth team as possible. I will only buy players under 18 who will then be able to get a home grown status (ps..i brought 33 year old Lucho Gonzalez and Toure just for the purpose of tutoring, i also have Doyle, Zucculini, Witsel, Miljas who can do that)

1ST TEAM

SHAABAN is the biggest star of the team...I bought him for dutch second division team OMNIWORLD in my first season when he was 15 (i managed Omniworld season and a half and then moved to wolverhapton). The first thing i did at Wolverhapton was buying him. Since then (17 year old player in premiership http://fmdiscussion....winkdefault.gif ) he is my 1st striker and my favourite player who will end his career here. He scored on his league debut in premiership back in 2011 against Man Utd to tie the game at 2:2.. he will become a legend..His statistics is very impressive: 95 goals for Wolverhampton and Omniworld + 22 goals/32 caps for Egypt. And he is just 21... Still time to develop...

Posted Image

SYLVINHO is my first choice right back. Probably the best technical stats i have ever seen, maybe not so good mentaly but age is on his side. The thing i like about him are his long throws. He trained and develope that so called *long flat throw* which works great. Better then a corner. He will not become Home grown..

Posted Image

IVANOV is at the moment sub for zucculini but still gets around 20+ matches per season. He develops fast, and he would already fit into most of the premiership teams. He will become home grown next year.

Posted Image

STEFANIK is my back up right back... Already home grown, his is developed, looks ok alrround..but i think he just needs some improvement. He was on loan last season and he did very well...one of best players for Reading in premiership.

ALSINA is ok player, but just a back up, he has a low composure and i am still trying to think of how to solve that. He will not become home grown as i bought him when he was 19 already.

Posted Image

OUT ON LOAN

ANDOH is in my team for about 3 and a half seasons, he is ok player, i hope he will develop a bit more, he will probably never be world class player, but with some extra tutoring i guess i could make him good enough to be a quality sub. If not he will be sold.. 5,000,000 is a minimum.

Posted Image

MARKOU is currently on loan but i have big plans with him... I bought him a year ago and he will get HOME GROWN STATUS soon, i think he could become a very good player, better then GUILHERME (who is my first choice left back)

Posted Image

YOUTH TEAM

ARENS is probably one of worlds greatest talents. I brought him when he was 15 and he already played some matches in cups and premiership. He will become home grown in 2 years.

Posted Image

JOHN is product of my youth academy so he is one of my favourites (my philosophy is that home boy gets a chance even if he is a bit worse then bought player). He will never be a great midfielder or defender due to his mental (off the ball, positioning) and technical stats but i guess if i retrain him as left back he wouldnt be that bad. Should be an average back up. If not i will just sell him and make profit.

Posted Image

ROSE is a DC who in my opinion despite his huge potential will never become world class centre back. His strength and jumping just arent good enough. Now i am thinking of retraining him to right back, or to a SWEEPER.. not sure..But he will stay at Molineux for a long time.. afterall he is a home player who came from my academy.

Posted Image

STEPHENSON is the third guy who came from my academy. Not much to say..i doubt he will become world class but i hope he proves me wrong..Will get a chance surely.

Posted Image

I think i still have a bit to many foreigners in my team, will try to make it more english by imroving youth facilities.. If i get one quality player every year from my academy then in like 7+ seasons i could have all home grown team.

Not seen any Hoddo-challengers yet lads. Bad form http://fmdiscussion....MO_DIR#>/no.gif

I'd post mine, but apart from Nico Raz, I've not really found any due to managing in obscure/bottom leagues http://fmdiscussion...._DIR#>/^_^.png.

Muller fairly pwned Hoddo like... I reckon gatusso's Shaaban is up there like, hes class... Puts my regens to shame! Ive got a 15 year old Costa Rican come through my youth system, says he has the potential to far exceed David Bentley's current potential and to become a Leading Premier league player, although i cant see it tbh!

It's too early for me on 10, but on 09 I had some absolute beasts:

Posted Image

Anders Johansen (Norway)

Anders was signed from Lillestrom for £100k, and he looked set to become an absolute star. He made his senior debut in a League Cup clash against rivals Hibernian, when he scored the opening goal from outside the box.

Posted Image

Scott Gough (Scotland)

Scott Gough was beginning to break through when I shifted to FM10. We signed him from our feeder club Stirling for about £90k, and initially loaned him back. He made one or two league appearances when injuries occured in our MR position. He scored a brace in a League Cup fixture, and was gearing up to become a future hit.

Posted Image

Steve Thompson (Scotland)

Thompson is older than the others, he appeared around the 10/11 season at Dundee United, we got him for £250k at the age of 16. Since then he shot up through the academy and skipped the reserves, going straight into the first team, and became the centre-piece of our side. He was easily my team's most gifted player, and his highlights include the wining goal against Barcelona at home in two consecutive seasons: one from a free-kick and another from a long range strike. He went on to become my captain at the age of 21, and was beginning to break into the Scotland squad when I shifted.

Posted Image

Pavel Zbozinek (Czech Republic)

Zbozinek was signed with his countryman Stepan Rezek at the age of 17 from Breno, a Czech league club. He developed quickly and made several appearances in the League Cup (which is when I blood my youngsters) - even scoring on one occasion. Needless to say, his stats show that he was destined to become an excellent player.

I will post some FM10 ones when I get that far!
