Scouting Regions [Guide]

Scouting Regions
I can probably estimate that maybe 2 out of every 5 people that use the scouting feature don't actually know where they're sending their scouts when they set them to scout regions. I certainly had no clue, thus deciding to spend a good couple of hours researching where was where. Hours then turned into days- it's definitely taken me a lot longer than I expected, however I feel it was definitely worth the time- I now know where I'll be sending my scouts (East Asia) and where I won't be sending them (Central Asia).
You might argue with a few of these- google tells me Kazakhstan is in Europe, wheras FM tells me it's in Asia. Stupid borders. However, all these countries listed below are set in the regions that FM tells us.
Please, have some courtesy- if you want to repost this elsewhere leave me credit.
Oh, and I definitely didn't realize how pretty the Oceania country flags were!

Great post! I scout all the time, usually i have 1 scouting the world and 3 scouting regions, but i go through it like a list, once they're done with the first regions set them to the next, then i have another 2 scouting nations, and 1 scouting competitions.
That's if i'm allowed that many scouts, if not i'll change it about.
But still a great post for those looking for specific nations

I often scout in Brazil, although its a bugger when you need work permits for them.
I'd prefer to scout countries rather than regions, it seems they find less players when you scout regions because there not getting a good idea of the country etc.
i also sent a scout over to South Korea and Japan mainly because ive heard that signing players from countries like that is a good cash cow as the fans lap up the shirt sales etc, might be true might not but i'm yet to find a decent player from there who is not already in europe.
BTW cheers for taking the time to clear everything up for people ash, some great work there.

Well there is one South Korean player on my Derby game called Suk (go on bring on the jokes) hes at Ajax but i dont have the money to bring him in yet, nor do i have enough scouts to send over to Asia when cause there all scouting for players of a certain type, but once i have the money i may buy Suk in the vain hope he don't live up to his name and brings me in some money, and i will also start seriously scouting up Asia long time.

When you do, let me know how the shirt sales etc actually impacts your finances. I'm really intrigued to see, even more so I might start two duplicate saves, one bringing in English talent and another only Asian and then seeing the difference in income.

Yeah that sounds like a plan actually, i believe i read the theory on a blog somewhere. In a way i don't see how i can't be true cause the same happens in real life don't it.
