Well it's releasing on November 14th 2008, and I just found some information from a blog site!

    • Add some new interesting team and player instructions that will add more tactical diversity.

    • Get license for national team of Germany :)

    • Getting wider player statistics after match.

    • More possibilities to spend the club money (training camps, club facilities...)

    • Possibilities to do anything with money your earn as manager. For now salary gives nothing to a FM player.

    • More options in player interaction and media talks.

Discuss in here about the forthcoming game by SI Games!

The more possibilities with spending the clubs money will be nice. I did have a EA Premier League Manager 2003 series game thing once, where you could actually upgrade, buy and even sell your stadium and training facilities. I'm sure that'll be a new exciting feature. :)

    What do you mean?
I will be able to buy a house or something like that? Car?
    Bribe a referee?
    Buy a hooker?
    Or just football related?

Most likely to be football related, if you could buy something away from the game (hooker, cars etc.) then there would mean more out-of-football interaction, such as clubbing, getting a wife, kiling your kids etc.

How late, i am sure it was a lot earlier last year, it normally gets put off by a couple of weeks anyway. I am not sure if i will be buying this anyway, until i have had a go on FMLive.

I still think there will be some massive changes.

I'd like to see more African Nations. I seems odd they only have South Africa. If they had Egypt, Cameroon and Nigeria in there as well I'm sure it can only be better. I don't see the Germany thing as a problem. Anyone can delete that little file if they want to.

I don't like the Germans so i classed it as a good thing ;) Nah but i tink the idea of spending your own money is good but it could take you away from the managerial side which is not a good thing but i could be good fun for a change now and again.

lol yeh they had that with Holland i think in FM 07. You go into the files and delete a file called .fake or something. Completely pointless really. It was quite obviouse SI wanted you to do that or it wouldn't be so easy :D

Well i hope there are some new and interesting things, i cant wait for it to come out now as i found that 08 is so boring. Those new features that matt has stated at the top sound good and would be intrested to find out if its true.

So true, i like my dots its part of history and brings back memories of my childhood so it is staying :P Manc i know a guy who is already beta testing FM09 and he says there are a lot of big things, i might try get him on here, but he is not allowed to say what they are due to contracts and that rubbish. I heard the price was going to be higher due to how much being spent on FMLive.

Yamo that could be good but dont want him to lose his contract. Well if FM is going to cost more im Definatly never go to help FMLive or buy it.

But if 09 is has some new stuff and is a great game i dont mind paying more.

    Cheers yamo.

It'd be cool if you could design your own stadium like on LMA manager. I just hope they sort out the complaining about the referee bit cos at the moment theres no point in complaining cos nothing happens if you win.

Not much use being able to design a stadium when you would never see it in the game lol.

I love this one. I think that the old tactic settings are too ordinary and could use a new items to add to it. Tactic and player instructions are the heart of FM and I'm really looking forward to the new features! ;)
