It seems this started when updates to Vista were downloaded. I love to address tech issues, and write tech how-to's in a way that it can be followed by everyone. I was able to get Mail running in the affected user account my running as an administrator, another tip I've seen. and it's been taken me 4 hours to solve A couple of things : on Windows 7.1 the store may not necessarily be on an %appdata% branch , so if it My Internet is still getting the same error message also. I should note that creating another user account and setting up the email account in Mail in the new user account works fine, so far.
